The Naran Kaghan Tour takes you to Pakistan’s most beloved mountain valley — a 4-day journey through the spectacular Kaghan Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, home to the enchanting Lake Saif ul Malook, the green plateau of Shogran, the wildflower meadows of Lalazar and the rushing Kunhar River. This is one of Pakistan’s most family-friendly mountain destinations.
Lake Saif ul Malook
The most famous lake in Pakistan — a brilliant turquoise glacial lake at 3,224m surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Accessible by jeep from Naran, the lake is particularly magical at dawn when mist rises from the water and the surrounding peaks are reflected in perfect stillness. According to local legend, a fairy princess fell in love with a prince here — giving the lake its name.
Shogran Plateau
A beautiful green plateau at 2,300m above the Kaghan Valley — accessible by chairlift or jeep track. The plateau is carpeted with wildflowers in summer and offers spectacular views of Musa Ka Musalla (4,080m). A perfect base for forest walks and family picnics.
Lalazar Meadows
One of the finest alpine meadows in Pakistan at 3,200m — a vast green plateau of exceptional natural beauty, carpeted with wildflowers in July and August, with panoramic views in all directions.
